Lighting Modes

The lantern offers three distinct lighting modes that can be cycled through using the power switch:

• Low: Provides a lower brightness level for extended battery life (up to 6 days).
• High: Delivers maximum brightness (1300 lumens) for full illumination.
• Flashing Strobe: Emits a flashing light, suitable for emergency signaling.

360° & Focused Lighting

The lantern comes with a removable convex reflector cap. When attached, it provides 360-degree ambient lighting. Removing the cap allows the light to be focused in a single direction for task lighting.

Use Guide

Installing Batteries

1. Ensure the lantern is turned off.
2. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom or side of the lantern.
3. Open the cover by sliding or unscrewing it (refer to the markings on the product).
4. Insert three fresh D-cell batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
5. Close and secure the battery compartment cover.

Operating the Lantern

1. Press the power switch button to turn the lantern on.
2. Cycle through the lighting modes (Low → High → Flashing Strobe) by pressing the switch repeatedly.
3. To turn the lantern off, continue cycling until the light turns off, or press and hold the switch (if applicable).

Using the Reflector

• 360° Mode: Keep the convex reflector cap attached to the top of the lantern for wide-area illumination.
• Focused Mode: Gently pull the reflector cap upwards to remove it. The bare LEDs will then provide a more directional beam.

Hanging the Lantern

1. Locate the folding hook at the bottom of the lantern.
2. Flip the hook outwards until it locks into place.
3. Hang the lantern from a suitable support, such as a tent ridge pole, tree branch, or a hook.

Emergency Use

In an emergency, use the Flashing Strobe mode to attract attention. The lantern's water-resistant and shockproof design makes it suitable for use during power outages, hurricanes, or other severe weather events.
