Supply connections:
This hob has to be connected to 230 —
240 V ( 50 Hz) electricity supply.
The hob has a terminal block which is
marked as follows:
L — Live terminal
N — Neutral terminal
or E — Earth terminal
Before carrying out the connection, make
sure:
1.
The limiter valve and the electrical
system can take the appliance load
(see the rating plate)
2.
The supply system is equipped with
an efficient earth connection in com-
pliance with the current standards
and regulations
3.
The outlet or omnipolar switch used
for connection is easily accessible
with the appliance installed.
You must purchase and install the plug.
Use only a connection cable of type
H05V2V2-F T90 or its equivalent. Make
sure that the cable section is applicable to
the voltage and the working temperature.
In any case the power cable must be
positioned in such a way that no part of it
reaches a temperature of 50° C higher
than the ambient temperature.
The wires in the cord are coloured as fol-
lows:
Green and yellow - Earth
Blue - Neutral
Brown - Live
1.
Remove the mains terminal cover
plate from the bottom side of the hob
to uncover the mains terminal block.
2.
Loosen the two cable clamp screws
and lift the top side of the clamp so
the cable can go through it.
3.
Connect the green and yellow (earth)
wire to the terminal in the plug which
is marked with the number 5 or the
letter 'E', or the earth symbol
, or
coloured green and yellow. (see Fig-
ure 1)
4.
Connect the blue (neutral) wire to the
terminal in the plug which is marked
with the number 4 or the letter 'N' or
coloured black. (see Figure 1)
5.
Connect the brown (live) wire to the
terminal in the plug which is marked
with the number 1, the letter 'L' or
coloured red. It must always be con-
nected to the network phase. (see
Figure 1)

There must be no cut or stray strands of
wire present. The cord clamp must be
correctly attached to the outer sheath.
The yellow / green earth wire (B)
must be approximately 2 cm lon-
ger than the brown (or blue) phase
wire (A).

WARNING!
Make sure to get rid of the cut off
plug safely. A cut off plug put into
a 13 amp socket is a safety risk.
There is a risk of electrical shock.
According to the current regula-
tions only a qualified electrician or
competent person can replace the
mains cable.
7.4 Connection cable
Use only connection cable of type
H05V2V2-F T90 or equivalent type. Make
sure that the cable section is applicable to
the voltage and the working temperature.
The yellow/green earth wire must be ap-
proximately 2 cm longer than the brown
(or black) phase wire.
