When not in use, keep the battery away from paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws and other small metal objects that may cause
the plug contacts to be bridged. Short circuiting between the
plug contacts may result in burns or even fire.
If the battery is defective, liquid may leak out onto objects in
the vicinity. Check any components that may be affected by
this.
o Clean these components, or replace them if necessary. Avoid
contact with this liquid.
If the battery is used incorrectly, liquid may leak out of the
battery. Avoid touching the liquid. In the event of accidental
contact, rinse the affected area with water. If the liquid comes
into contact with the eyes, seek medical assistance.
o If battery liquid leaks, it can irritate or burn the skin.
Do not use defective batteries. Replace defective batteries im-
mediately and dispose of them.
The battery may be damaged by sharp objects, such as nails
and screwdriver bits, or by external forces. This can result in a
short circuit and the battery burning, emitting smoke, overhea-
ting or exploding.
