Symptoms Reason Solution
Odour problem
This odour is caused by the rubber
attached to the washing machine.
It is the normal smell of new rubber and will
disappear after the machine has been run a few
times.
If the rubber seal is not cleaned
regularly, odours can occur from
mold or foreign substances
remaining inside the rubber seal .
Be sure to clean the rubber seal regularly.
Odours can occur if foreign
substances are left in the drain
pump lter.
Be sure to clean the drain pump lter regularly.
Odours can occur if the drain hose
is not properly installed, causing
water to ow back inside the
washing machine.
When installing the drain hose, be sure that it
doesn’t bend or become blocked.
Using the dry function, odours can
occur from lint and other laundry
matter sticking to the heater. (Dryer
model only)
This is not a malfunction, so you may continue
using the machine without concern.
A distinct odour can occur from
drying wet clothes with hot air.
(Dryer model only)
The odour will disappear after a short while.
