Siemens ED707FQ25E Questions and Answers

#1 What is the reason for the minimum thickness of 16mm for the worktop?

For flush installation, the worktop must be at least 16 mm thick and have a load capacity of at least 60 kg. In the assembly instructions we specify:
The worktop must be flat, horizontal and stable. Follow the worktop manufacturer's instructions. The appliance can be built into the following heat and water-resistant worktops:
- worktops made of marble, natural stone
- synthetic worktops
- worktops made of solid wood: only in accordance with the manufacturer of the worktop (sealed cut edges)
- installation of other types of worktops: only in accordance with the worktop manufacturer. In this case, you should contact the worktop manufacturer to find out whether it is possible to install the hob.

#2 What is the difference between combo zone and flex zone?

With the combination zone, you can combine the two cooking zones into one large zone, e.g. B. to have more space for large cookware, such as a roaster. This is also possible with the varioInduction, although several pots can also be placed next to or behind each other

#3 I always find the presentation of the differences between the individual models at Siemens extremely confusing. Does this hob have an intelligent extractor control, for example?

Thank you for your feedback, which we are happy to record. In addition, this hob has "automatic start", which means that the ventilation system switches on automatically when a cooking zone is used.

#4 Can I use this hob with the griddle? Does it have total surface induction? What are the differences to the top models for €3828? Apart from the app control

No, the griddle is not suitable for this cooking area. The hob does not have an entire surface induction, but rather a combination zone for the left and right. The differences can be found in the equipment, eg the flex induction and the Dual LightSlider operation.
