GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an
outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
WARNING - Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock. Consult a qualifi ed electrician or
service agent if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is
properly grounded.

Use an exclusive 115V wall outlet. Do not connect your refrigerator to extension cords or together with another appliance
in the same wall outlet. Do not splice the cord.

An empty refrigerator or freezer is a very dangerous attraction to children. Remove either the gasket
or door from unused appliances, or take some other action that will guarantee it harmless.

• Before connecting the appliance to an electrical power supply, let it stand 6 hours. This will reduce the possibility of
malfunctions in the cooling system due to transport handling.
• The refrigerator system of the appliance is fi lled with refrigerant and insulating substances which should be sepa-
rately treated and processed. Call your nearest authorized service agent or specialized servicing centre. If you are
unable to locate one, contact your local authorities or your distributor. Be careful not to damage any tubes that may
be on the rear wall of the appliance.

Installation Instructions
1. Select a place with a strong, level fl oor.
2. Allow a clearance of 12.7 cms (5 inches) between the back/sides and any adjacent wall. Please allow adequate
clearances between the freezer lid and ceiling.
Place the appliance fi rmly on a solid base. Some appliances have adjustable feet on the front side; use them to level the
appliance (some models only).
NOTE: This appliance is intended for FREE-STANDING INSTALLATION ONLY and is NOT intended to be built-in.
This appliance is approved for INDOOR USE ONLY and is NOT intended for outdoor operation.
Operating Instructions
TEMPERATURE SELECTION
DEFROSTING YOUR APPLIANCE
Once the unit is plugged in, set the temperaturewe between MIN and
MAX. MIN is the warmest setting, MAX is the coldest setting. To set the
temperature, press the “SET” button until you have reached the
desired temperature position. Note: When the green indicator light is il-
luminated, the compressor is working. When it is not illuminated, the unit
still has power, however the compressor is not working.
If you have placed a large quantity of food in your unit and want the
compressor to run continuously for 52 hours, press “SET” until “SUPER”
freezing is activated.
In the event of a power failure, the unit will return to its previous setting
when power is restored. Note: When there is an error in the temperature
sensor, the temperature indicator bar will fl ash every second from left to
right.
For proper defrosting and cleaning, the following method is recommended:
a) Unplug freezer.
b) Quickly remove all frozen food and store in baskets, cartons or other suitable containers.
Keep food well covered with blankets to avoid excessive temperature rise.
c) Remove the drain plug from the freezer, place a tray under the plug and rotate the drain dial
180 degrees, this will allow the water to drain out of the freezer compartment. Wipe the interior
of the freezer, replace the drain plug and resume freezer operation as normal.
Handle Installation (some models only)
1. Using the screws provided, you will need to remove them from the front of the unit, screw the handle base onto the lid.

Instructions d’installation
Placez l’appareil de manière à ce qu’il repose de manière ferme sur une base solide. Certains appareils possèdent des
pieds réglables à l’avant; utilisez-les pour mettre les appareils à niveau (sur certains modèles seulement).
REMARQUE : Cet appareil est pour L’INSTALLATION AUTONOME SEULEMENT, et n’est pas pour l’installation
intégrée. Cet appareil est approuvé pour L’USAGE D’INTÉRIEUR SEULEMENT et n’est pas approuvé pour l’usage
extérieur.
DEGIVRAGE L’APPAREIL
SÉLECTION DE LA TEMPÉRATURE
Consignes d’utilisation
1. Choisir un endroit où le plancher est solide et à niveau.
2. Prévoir un dégagement de 12,7 cm (5 pouces) entre l’arrière/les côtés et les murs adjacents. Prévoir aussi un dé-
gagement suffi sant entre le couvercle du congélateur et le plafond.
Lorsque l’appareil est branché, régler la température entre MIN et
MAX. MIN est le réglage le moins froid, alors que MAX est le plus
froid. Pour régler la température, appuyer sur le bouton «SET»
jusqu’à ce que la température désirée soit atteinte.
Remarque : Lorsque le voyant lumineux vert est allumé, cela signi-
fi e que le compresseur est en marche. Lorsqu’il n’est pas allumé,
l’appareil fonctionne, mais le compresseur n’est pas en marche.
Si vous avez entreposé une grande quantité de nourriture dans votre
appareil et que vous désirez que le compresseur fonctionne con-
tinuellement durant 52 heures, appuyez sur « SET » jusqu’à ce que
l’option « SUPER » congélation soit activée.
Advenant une panne de courant, lorsque le courant est rétabli,
l’appareil reviendra aux réglages précédents. Note : Lorsqu’il y a une
erreur au niveau du capteur de température, la barre témoin de tem-
pérature clignotera de gauche à droite à chaque seconde.
Pour un dégivrage et un nettoyage adéquats, la méthode suivante est recommandée :
a) Débrancher le congélateur.
b) Enlever rapidement tous les aliments congelés et ranger-les dans des paniers, des cartons
ou d’autres contenants appropriés. Préserver la nourriture des hausses excessives de tempéra-
ture en la couvrant bien avec des couvertures.
c) Enlever le bouchon de vidange du congélateur, placer un plateau sous le bouchon et tourner
le cadran du drain sur 180 degrés, cela permettra à l’eau de s’écouler hors du congélateur. Es-
suyer l’intérieur du congélateur, replacer le bouchon de vidange et remettre le congélateur en
marche.
Installation de la poignée (pour certains modèles seulement)
1. En utilisant les vis fournies, visser la base de la poignée sur le couvercle.
2. Replacer le revêtement de la poignée.

Operadora
1. Seleccione un lugar que tenga un buen nivel en el piso.
2. Permita un espacio libre de 12.7 Centímetros (5 Pulgadas) entre la parte posterior o lados y cualquier pared adya-
cente, favor de permita adecuado espacio libre entre el refrigerador y el techo.
Una vez que la unidad esta encendida, ajuste la temperatura entre
MIN (Mínimo) and MAX (Máximo), donde MIN es el ajuste menos frio
y MAX es el ajuste a mas frio. Para ajustar la temperatura, presione
el botón “SET” hasta que haya alcanzado el nivel de tempera-
tura deseada. Nota: Cuando la luz indicadora en verde esta iluminada,
será indicación de que el compresor esta trabajando, Cuando no este
iluminada, la unidad aun esta conectada a la electricidad si embargo el
compresor no esta trabajando.
Si usted ha colocado una gran cantidad de comida en su unidad y
desea que el compresor este encendido continuamente por hasta 52
horas, presione el botón de “SET” hasta que la indicación “SUPER”
frio este activado.
En el evento de falla de energía, la unidad regresara al ajuste previo,
cuando la energía eléctrica sea restaurada. Nota: Cuando se detecta
un error en el sensor de la temperatura, el indicador de temperatura se
encenderá y apagara intermitentemente cada segundo de izquierda a
derecha.
Para descongelar y limpiar la unidad adecuadamente , se recomienda el siguiente método:
a) Desenchufe el congelador (la unidad)
b) Rápidamente remueva toda los alimentos congelados y colóquelos en canastas, cajas de
cartón o cualquier otro contenedor adecuado para este propósito, mantenga los alimentos bien
cubiertos con alguna lona o manta, para evitar que la temperatura se eleve rápidamente.
c) Remueva la tapa del desagüe del congelador, coloque la charola debajo de la tapa y gire la
llave del desagüe 180 grados ( de extremo a extremo) , esto permitirá que el agua circule hacia
afuera por el desagüe del congelador, Limpie el interior del congelador, vuelva a colocar la tapa
del desagüe y entonces reanudar la operación normal el congelador.
