Braun IRT 3020EE Questions and Answers

#1 How accurate is Braun ThermoScan ear?

Temperatures for my son ranged from 95.7 to 102.9 over 5 readings in same ear within 1 minute. Accurate and consistent thermometer registered 101 (which agreed with walk-in clinic reading. Same thing happened when my daughter had a fever. Checking on myself shows a range of 97.1 to 99.1 when I was not sick.

#2 Can Braun ThermoScan be used on adults?

Braun ThermoScan measures the infrared heat generated by the eardrum and surrounding tissue. Fast, gentle and easy to use. Recalls the last temperature taken. Recommended for babies, infants, children and adults.
