Property damage
Damage to the hob Use the gas hobs only when cookware is placed on
them. Do not heat up empty pot or pans. This
damages the saucepan base.
Avoid cooking on the hob with an empty pan and
prevent pans boiling dry, in particular enamel and
aluminium pans.
The saucepan base must be clean and dry.
Observe the manufacturer's instructions for special
ovenware. Aluminium foil and cling film will melt onto
the hot gas hobs.
Do not use cookware which needs to be heated over
two burners. Heat will accumulate. The appliance
could be damaged.
Damage to the oven Never prepare dishes on the bottom of the oven.
Do not slide a baking tray onto the oven floor. Do not
line the oven floor with aluminium foil. Do not place
any ovenware on the oven floor. Heat will
accumulate. The baking and roasting times will no
longer be correct and the enamel will be damaged.
Never pour water into the hot oven. This damages the
enamel.
Do not overfill the baking tray with fruit flans/pies
containing a lot of juice. Any fruit juice which drips
from the baking tray will leave stains which cannot be
removed.
Do not lean on or sit on the open oven door.
Damage to the front of
adjacent units
Only let the oven cool down with the oven door
closed. Even if you only leave the oven door slightly
ajar, the front of adjacent units can become damaged
over time.
If the oven seal is heavily soiled, the oven door no
longer closes correctly during operation. The front of
adjacent units will become damaged over time. Keep
the seal clean.
