Cleaning the Drain Pump Filter
•
The drain lter collects threads and small objects left
in the laundry. Check regularly that the lter is clean to
ensure smooth running of your washing machine.
•
Allow the water to cool down before cleaning the drain
pump, carrying out emergency emptying, or opening
the door in an emergency.

Open the cover cap and pull out the drain tube.

Unplug the drain tube plug to drain out any
residual water, and then open the lter by turning
it to the left.

Remove any extraneous matter, foreign debris
and lint from the pump lter and cavity.

After cleaning, ret the pump lter cap by turning
it to the right and insert the drain plug back onto
the drain tube plug.

Close the cover cap.
CAUTION
•
First drain using the drain tube and then open the
pump lter cap to remove any threads or objects.
•
Be careful when draining, as the water may be hot,
and, not to cross thread the lter cap when retting it.
