4. Pull the bulb out of the bulb holder.
5. Install the new bulb with the bulb holder in
reverse order of removal. In doing so, en‐
sure that the bulb tab is correctly posi‐
tioned in the headlight housing and the
bulb holder perceptibly engages.
6. Check the position of the bulb through the
headlight glass.
7. Close the headlight housing with the lid.
Make sure that the lid engages.
Low beams
Follow the general instructions on lights and
bulbs, refer to page 235.
Bulbs: H7
1.
Turn the steering wheel.
2. Turn the cover counterclockwise, and re‐
move it.
3. Unscrew the inner lid counterclockwise,
and remove it.
4. Tilt the bulb holder down, arrow 1, and pull
it downward out of the headlight, arrow 2.
5. Pull the bulb out of the bulb holder.
6. Install the new bulb with the bulb holder in
reverse order of removal. In doing so, en‐
sure that the bulb tab is correctly posi‐
tioned in the headlight housing and the
bulb holder perceptibly engages.
7. Check the position of the bulb through the
headlight glass.
8. Install the covers. Make sure that the covers
engage.
