When You Cannot Open the Trunk
If you cannot open the trunk, use the following procedure.
1. Remove the built-in key from the smart
entry remote.
2. Remove the cover with the key.
u Wrap a key with a cloth to prevent
scratching the cover.
3. Insert the key into the cylinder and turn it
clockwise.
4. Replace the cover.
