Guidelines on air supply and ventilation
This appliance must only be set up in an adequately
ventilated room and in accordance with the current
local regulations.
This appliance is not connected to an extractor hood.
Install the appliance so that natural or channelled
ventilation is provided by ventilation openings leading
outside or by appropriate pipes. The ventilation must
continuously provide enough air for combustion and
provide for the discharge of used air.
If only this gas-powered appliance is to be set up in
the room, an extractor hood must be installed so that
the used air is discharged directly.
The extractor pipe must:
• be routed vertically
• be at least twice the length of its diameter
• have a minimum section of 100 cm
2

For the required air, a ventilation hole of at least
100 cm

must be provided.
The ventilation hole must:
• be at least 100 cm
2
• lead directly outside
• be close to the ground.
This ventilation hole must not be blocked from the
inside nor from the outside.
The vertical difference between it and the extractor
pipe must be at least 180 cm.
