Is there an adapter to go from the primary drain plug to a garden hose. Note: I am using this unit to repace my basement dehumidifier.
An adapter is not available for this unit. Please refer to page 17 of the user manual on steps to drain the unit: https://manualsfile.com/download/ymg1omv2g.html
Where is the window kit found?
How to clear E5 error code
Error code E5 means the water container is full.
Drain the water, see "Draining the air conditioner" (https://manualsfile.com/product/ymg1omv2g.html#:~:text=AIR%20CONDITIONER%20CARE-,Draining%20the%20Air%20Conditioner). After draining, the unit can be operated again.
Keep getting an E5 error but there is no water in the drain at all.
In this case, please contact Hisense customer service.
Will the unit have to be drained while operating in auto mode?
There is a drain port on the bottom of the unit to remove water from the water collection area but no separate drain hose connection. See "Draining the Air Conditioner" section at: https://manualsfile.com/product/ymg1omv2g.html#:~:text=AIR%20CONDITIONER%20CARE-,Draining%20the%20Air%20Conditioner
How do I connect it to the window hose
Can this unit be used as a dehumidifier
No, while running an AC does help reduce humidity, dehumidifiers are much more efficient at removing excess moisture.
Can the unit be used as a dehumidifier
We have ice build up in the air filter on left side of air conditioner. Constantly having to drain the water. Why is ice forming?
Why is my unit not cooling the small room
Sometimes the portable AC unit while in cool mode fan speed (hi) blows hot air. I turned off waited about 30 minutes turned on and it worked ok. It's in my garage and it is quite hot outside. I'm just trying to make the garage to be able to be worked in during the oklahoma summer.
