E-5 error cause and solution?
The E5 code is because the inverter inside the microwave has failed. Try and unplug for 5 minutes & restore power. If this issue persists, the unit will need to be serviced or replaced.

E6 is likely a control board fault. Try and unplug for 5 minutes & restore power. If it doesn't reset, the board may be damaged and it will need to be serviced or replaced.

My Microwave/Invertech, Model # EM245A5C has begun stopping after timer has started. Sometimes goes for a minute, then stops & code E-6 appears. Whatever I had in the microwave is not heating at all. Today I did 30 seconds & went off after 15 seconds with the E-6 appearing. Item in microwave was not receiving heat. I tried once more with 30 seconds and code E-6 appeared after five(5) seconds. No heat at all.
Is this an easy fix or is a fatal to the microwave.So, does anyone KNOW what the error code 'E6' means?
Our microwave is speaking that same language!E6 means gate array fault occurs when there is a failure in the main gate array on the drives printed circuit board. Cycle power on the unit. If the fault re-occurs, the unit will need to be serviced or replaced.
