If you have tried pressing and holding the "Reset Filter" pad for three seconds and the light does not turn off, we recommend hard resetting the appliance by either unplugging it for 2-3 minutes and then turning it back on.
How to put new charcoal filter in
The filter is located behind the front grille above the microwave door. To replace the filter: 1. Unplug the microwave oven. 2. Remove the vent grille mounting screws. 3. Tip the grille forward, then lift out to remove. 4. Remove the charcoal filter. 5. Slide a new charcoal filter into place. 6. Slide the bottom of the vent grille into place. Push the top until is snaps into place. Replace the mounting screws. 7. Plug in the microwave oven. How do I change the filter, it keeps saying it needs to be change
When using the convection cooking, do you leave in the rotating microwave plate and ring or do they need to be removed? I understand that all of the metal parts need to be removed before microwaving. Is this true?

How to “reset filter” red light
The Reset Filter light indicates that the charcoal filter needs to be replaced. If your microwave is externally vented out of the home, you will need to press and hold this button for 3-5 seconds to reset this filter notice and resume normal operation. However, if your appliance is installed as a recirculating appliance, you will need to purchase a replacement charcoal filter(s) and then resume normal operation.
