Why does my water dispener drip after the water stops.It runs down the front of thefridge
- Check the ice chute for ice shavings and pieces. Ice shavings and pieces that get caught in the chute will eventually start to melt, and some dripping could occur if using crushed ice, clear ice chute by dispensing 8-10 ice cubes after dispensing crushed ice to prevent ice shaving build up.
- Check for water at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment, hinge area, or by household connection in the back of the product. A loose water connection could cause the water dispenser to drip occasionally or continuously.
- Remove the filter and inspect it for cracks or damage. If the filter is cracked or damaged, replace the filter with a new one.
If the issues persists, kindly contact Whirlpool service for assistance.
How to remove grille to clean.
To remove the base grille, twist and pull the right side until this side passes underneath the refrigerator door. Then pull the left side of the base grille for complete removal. Note: The doors must only be opened to 90°. If they are opened all the way, the base grille will not come off.

The water filter is located in the base grille of the refrigerator. This model uses EDR1RXD1 water filter.

After changing the filter, reset the filter status light by pressing and hold LIGHT and ICE TYPE button for 3 seconds. The status light will turn off when the system is reset.

To turn on the ice maker, flip the switch to the On (up) position. The On/Off switch, located on the left wall of the freezer door, can only be accessed when the ice storage bin has been removed.
The fridge is showing a red indicator (next to the crushed ice indicator) on the door. It has three cross hatched lines and H2O written. What does that mean?

We do not have the wattage listed on this refrigerator. The electrical requirement is a 115-volt, 60 Hz, AC-only, 15- or 20-amp fused, grounded electrical supply is required.
I took off the base grille and loosened the bolt so the wheels aren't forced down touching the floor but I cannot find leveling feet on my fridge. Did they somehow not get put on in production or are they hidden or does this model not have any?!

The H2O Light will illuminate to let you know when to change your water filter. It is recommended that you replace the filter when the status light changes to red or water flow to your water dispenser or ice s noticeably. The water should be replaced at least 6 months depending on your water quality and usage. You would need water filter EDR1RXD1.

That is an indicator that the water filter needs replaced.

This unit doesn't have On/Off switches or buttons. If you want to shut off the refrigerator you would need to unplug it.

The glass shelf cannot be removed.
