    Original and universal remotes both operated tv for several years , now they both are intermittently working, tv is 5 years old, have tried to reset tv by power cycling and several ways of soft resetting and sometimes works for a short while then no response from remotes. TV has no control buttons on back panel … bottom or top or sides so can’t do a hard reset as per u the tutorials , ow can I verify if tv remote sensor needs replacing?

    This is not a smart TV and it cannot be connected to the internet.
