    My ice tray is jammed. I can not get it in or out. How can I defrost my fridge. Is there a defrost mode in the fridge that can be activated by using the control panel as opposed to unplugging and waiting.

    Before you begin thawing the ice maker, make sure to turn off the Ice Maker. 

    • Fill a bowl or container with warm water and pour it over the ice maker components, paying particular attention to the area where the ice is jammed. 
    • If it still frozen solid, you can use a hair dryer to help thaw out the blockage. Set the hair dryer to a low heat setting and hold it a few inches away from the ice maker components. Move the hair dryer back and forth to evenly distribute the heat and melt the ice.

    My ice maker fills up and then it over Flows into the floor. I can’t find the water adjustment screw. All ice cubes come out fine.

    How do you turn off ice maker and know it is off? Instructions in manual are vague. Per manual when the ice maker indicator is lit, the ice maker is on. When the ice maker is off, the ice maker off indicator is lit? Where is that light?

    Press and hold the Ice Maker button for 3 seconds to turn the ice maker on/off. When the indicator is lit, the ice maker is on. When the ice maker is off, the ice maker off indicator is lit. The indicator above the ice maker button. If the display is in sleep mode, you will have to wake it up to confirm the ice maker is on/off. To change from sleep mode (on) to active mode (off), simultaneously press and hold Crush and the "light bulb icon" for 5 seconds. The display will show the current ice maker status. A tone will confirm.
