    I have the same exact problem as TJ…. See below. My unit stopped working weeks ago and I’m just now getting around to investigating the problem. Can anyone give us an answer? Hi - my unit worked great for 48 hours and I emptied several buckets of water. Now, for the last week, nothing!!! Its stuck on a 55 setting. And when power is recycled the fan runs for a couple minutes and shuts off. for the last couple of days the unit just sits there and appears to not be working with the 55 showing..in florida, its hard to believe the humidity is less than 55 for a couple weeks during rainy season. Is the unit defective???
