Where is the menu button
The MENU (≡) button is the right button in the row of three small buttons above the Navigation Ring.

How do you increase volume
Press the Volume Up on the remote.

How come the remote has an aquamarine light turned on when it hasn’t been touched?
Try this, press and hold at the same time the following 3 buttons: DPAD-left, Back (↩) and Menu (≡) for at least 12 seconds to Factory Reset the Remote. Then, to pair the remote press and hold the Home button for up to 2 minutes.
how do you figure out what the buttons are and what they do????

when I press the microphone button, the light is aquamarine. when I release it, it blinks blue. Alexa is not heard or responding. What does this mean? what can I do to correct the problem?
