We are getting an error message E 5 which is not listed in the owners manual
E5 likely indicates a refrigerant or sensor fault. Try draining the water tank and checking the unit for any obstructions or damage, then unplugging the unit for about 10 minutes to reset it. If the error persists, please contact Shinco directly for further assistance.
How can you keep compressor from constantly turning on and off.
The compressor will cycle on and off as needed to maintain set temperature.
How to reset the unit once the FL message comes on?
If internal vessel fills with water such as under very humid conditions, the unit shuts off and screen displays FL. Pull out water plug to drain or try to unplug then wait 5 minutes then plug it back in. Dehumidifier is a different set up.
