Does this model have an easy access filter where one is able to clean the filter without having to call a service person?
Yes, the drain pump filter is located behind the small access panel on the lower front of the unit. To clean it, first turn off and unplug the washer, then open the panel and carefully unscrew the filter cap while placing a towel or shallow container underneath to catch any remaining water. Once removed, rinse the filter under running water and remove any lint or debris before reinstalling it securely. Regularly checking and cleaning the filter can help maintain proper drainage and keep your washer performing at its best.
Thank you for your reply, however that is so odd, I called Electrolux yesterday and their answer was "no it did not have an easy access to filter." Not sure what the right answer is...
