how does the wick get wet for first time use? all the way up or all the way down?
When fueling your heater for the firsttime and any other time when the tank has been completely empty, make sureto allow the wick to soak a minimum 60 minutes before you attempt to light the heater. Failure toproperly soak the wick can trap air pockets in the wick causing the heater to burn poorly. The wick will naturally draw kerosene up.
