  • If I don't want to use steam do I still need to put water in my iron so it will work correctly? thanks deb

    You do not need to put water in the tank if you don’t want to use steam. The steam function can be turned off for dry ironing by simply pressing the Steam button on the iron.

    • Make sure the iron is plugged into a working outlet.
    • Fill the water tank and allow the iron to fully heat up.
    • Test if steam comes out continuously while holding the button. If steam cuts off immediately, the button or its internal switch could be faulty or have loose wiring.
    • Try cleaning the steam vents with vinegar to descale.
