When adding the mixture it has to have 13% sugar- so if you are buying half gallon of the solution are you having to dilute this or just add the half gallon to the machine and set the selection?

The ratio of white granulated sugar to water is 1 : 6.5 (you can also buy a glucose meter).

Dilute and mix the CONCENTRATE with WATER in a suitable container, THE MIXTURE OBTAINED MUST HAVE A MINIMUM SUGAR CONTENT OF 13% BRIX- A lower concentration may damage the augers and/or gearmotors. But too much sugar level will lead to no slushie, then you need to add more water into the tank to make slushie.
