    can i use an extension cord on this model.please advise.

    Avoid the use of extension cords due to risk of fire. If an extension cord must be used:

    1. Use only an undamaged cord.
    2. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances.
    3. Ensure the plug fits securely into the extension cord socket.
