Accidentally dropped my MS6508 from a height of 8'. Wasn't reading for a while then came on line but I think it's off by 1 or 2 degrees judging from other temp devices I have. Is there any possibility to open (how to do it) and repair/adjust the meter?
To open it up, just remove the screws you see after removing batteries. You will have to pry two halves apart starting from the top. Might just have a loose wire connection comming from battery compartment. Attempting to repair one that a battery leaked down into and corroded where the battery wires attach to main board. Good luck
