What does E1 message mean. Buttons don't do anything.
There are two reasons for an E1 error. The first is that it is not on a solid, flat surface. Please make sure the unit is in a stable location. Additionally, either due to clogged filter or a tripped tilt switch, unplug the unit, turn onto side, then back upright again and plug in. Clean filter if necessary. Please make sure this unit is plugged directly into the wall and not plugged in with any other appliance.
