Why is the unit so noisy? The fan noise is even noisy in the nighttime mode which has to be turned off. Is there anything that I can do to diminish or lower the units sound? Thank you.
Thank you for quick response. The current noise is extremely loud and the heat on top is really hot. We have used this constantly in the small RV and it just started doing this.
The machine (fan?) makes a lot of noise when running and top of housing gets hot. Alsp, where is the air filter located? Husband says he didn't see anything that looked like a filter.
This dehumidifier does generate some noise during operation. The unit getting hot on top is normal operation as it uses semiconductor cooling technology that generates heat during the moisture removal process.
The air filter is located behind the front panel. Simply remove the front cover to access the reusable filter for cleaning.
