Why does the dishwasher shows an E54 and when switched of and on does it again
On screen, it may look like E54 but it is actually an F54 error.
F54 indicates that water has leaked into the base of the dishwasher, triggering the flood switch. You will need to pull the dishwasher out and tilt it backward. This action will allow the water in the base to drain onto the floor, so be sure to have a towel handy for this. Once the water is removed, the flood switch will reset itself, and the error code should clear. After that, try restarting and running it again.
