Why is my broiler unit on when my oven is on bake? Is this normal for Whirlpool? I've had a lot of electric ranges but have never had this happen.
If the broil element is turning on, this is a glitch in your display control board, or you have a stuck broil relay on the board. Try to unplug the oven for 5 minutes to see if the electronics will reset. If the issue persists, the control board will need to be replaced unfortunately.
Why does my air fryer turn on and off every 10 seconds? It takes over 30 min. just to cook some cheese sticks. Is my new oven not working properly?

How do I get the broiler to work for this model. I've tried everything. Goes on and goes off, never gets hot enough to melt anything. Only one button to push that says broiler then start. Does it matter if the door is open or closed?
The convection fan will shut off when the oven door is opened. If the oven door remains open for too long, the heating elements will shut off until the oven door is closed.
