    GE GFE28GYNFS ENERGY STAR® 27.7 Cu. Ft. Fingerprint Resistant French-Door Refrigerator What recommendations are there for opening and closing the right and left sides of the refrigerator door so as not to damage the inner rubber gasket along the right door.

    You don't have to worry, you can close whichever door you want first. The left wing will have a layer of rubber gasket, which will automatically open when the wing is closed and fold back when the wing is open. If that door is open and the gasket is also open, you cannot close it. Use your hands to close the gasket first.

    After you change the water filter, the RESET WATER FILTER button must be pressed and held down for 3 seconds until the red light goes off.

    What does “Ice Top Off” mean?

    The “Ice Top Off” notification means that the refrigerator ice maker selector is in an off position: Tapping the Ice Maker pad repeatedly will toggle between the icemaker on/off options for the icemaker in the fresh food door (Top icemaker) and the icemaker in the freezer drawer (Bottom icemaker) and will show on the display as: Ice Top On or Off; Ice Bottom On or Off.
