    While pressing and holding [TIME SET], press [HOUR] or [MIN] to set the time. Then press the hour button and scroll the display to the hour you want the radio to come on. Then press the minute button to set the minute you want the radio to come on. Pay attention to AM PM marker on the display.

  • #11277 AU asked the question I was looking to find an answer to. The Panasonic RC 700 display is not very bright, especially in daylight.

  • Hopelessly inadequate display brightness which cannot be adjusted. Panasonic should read up on "customer expectations 101" of products with display screens

    Press and hold [DOZE] to check the second display. The minutes and the seconds will appear.

    To change the brightness of the time display, press [HIGH] for a bright display and [LOW] for a dim display.
