How to release handle towards body after starting

I don't see any answers here.
Is there a reset button because it stopped and I don’t know why. Would not start up.
The reset button is located on the upper left-hand side of the unit where the low voltage wires connect to the unit.
The hose at the bottom does not attach with any ease or connection device?
The hose does not latch into receiver at the foot of the sweeper. May I get a replacement hose? We bought it six months ago.
What attachments come with it
Rotating brushes at the cleaner base do not rotate- is this a result of a broken rubber belt that drives the brushes?? Thank you.
