micro will not heat but timer works fine.model3 JVM7195SK3SS.
If your microwave runs but is not heating, there could be one of many components that are not working properly.
- Please make sure the “Timer” function was not inadvertently used.
- Check to ensure the door is closed securely. Open the door and close it firmly. This confirms the engagement of the door's safety mechanisms.
tried to heat a cold dish, micro would not heat but did time correctly. Opened door cleaned and tried again same results timer works but did not heat
A microwave that does not heat up may have a broken magnetron. This is the part that makes the heat to cook the food. If this part has failed, it will have to be replaced.
If I push defrost and #1 it would do 45 seconds. Now it does not do that. Why?
How to install new charcoal filter
To install a new charcoal filter, remove the plastic and other outer wrappings from the new filter. Insert the top of the filter up. Push the bottom of the filter in until it rests in place behind the tabs. Close the filter door.
How do I turn off the LOCK CONTROL? When resetting the time, I think I accidently hit the CONTROL LOCK button and now can't figure out how to turn it off.
