where is the on/off switch?
This unit does not feature a power button or switch. The iron must be unplugged when not in use.
Our ICR16X came with a separate black plastic part about 2.25" x 1.0" x 0.75" in size. What is it for?
This plastic piece protects the tip of the soleplate while in the packaging. It is for packing purposes only, and is not a part for your iron.

How do you turn the iron on to start ironing
This iron does not feature an on/off switch or button. The temperature control dial should be turned all the way to the lowest position, and the iron should be unplugged when not in use.
