    My air conditioning unit seems to be 'spitting' droplets of water when it has never done this before. (My husband just emptied it this morning, but it is still doing this.) Thank you..

    ac shuts dowm compresser as soon as it kicks in, good warerdrainage,filters clean coils not overly dirty,,,display shows 8.8

    P1 code comes on after only 15

    P1 means the bottom tray is full. Turn off the unit, drain the water from the water collection tray and restart the unit. If protection code repeats, call for service.
