Why is the baseplate hot enough to burn my fingers and boil a drop of water after brewing when this is supposed to be a thermal carafe? My other cuisinart thermal carafe has a plastic baseplate that does not get hot.
After the brewing is finished the blue light goes off. How long d oh es the coffee stay hot
Thermal carafe can keep coffee hot for as long as 4 hours with minimal degradation to flavor.
