    The Broil Hi-Lo pad gives you the capability of reducing the oven temperature during the broil function. It is featured on most electronic model ovens. Hi Broil: Functions at 550 degrees Fahrenheit. It gives a quicker broiling to sear in natural food juices. Lo Broil: Functions at 450 degrees Fahrenheit. It gives a slower broiling to ensure doneness without drying out the food. Detailed information can be found on page 15 of the Use and Care manual.

    The Melt option is optimized for melting chocolate, and this simmer setting delivers the low gentle heat needed. It is essentially a low heat option, and is used on the rear two burners. This is a great feature that can come in handy for making desserts. We hope this helped out some.
