    We are not entirely certain about the cause of the E6 code, but you may try the following troubleshooting steps: 1. Unplug the microwave for a few minutes, then plug it back in and try using it again. 2. If the error persists, check for any issues with the door. Make sure the door closes completely and that the safety interlock switches are functioning properly. A faulty door switch can sometimes trigger the E6 code. 3. If the door switches appear to be in good condition, the issue may be with the magnetron, which could be faulty and require replacement.
