DO 5THE LIGHTS TURN ON EVERYTIME YOU OPEN THE LID ?

  • User Non avatar #108208 Asia3 months ago

It is normal for the status lights (fill, soak, wash, rinse, spin) to all come on when you open the lid even when the washer is not being used. Using the controls or opening the lid "wakes up" the controls and is a signal that the washer is ready to be used. The lights will fade back out after a short period of time.

  • I am so disappointed with this machine.... How do I get for the washer to fill the correct water level...It washes and rinse in the minummun level regardless of the amount of clothes or selection on water level

  • User Non avatar #104676 United States8 months ago

You can set the water level using the Water Level dial on the left of the control panel. The fill setting should be chosen based on the size of the load. The Precise Fill setting uses sensors to determine the water level based on the load size. You can also utilize the Deep Rinse option when using fabric softener to add water to the rise cycle. There is a diagram of the water level inside the Use and Care manual that shows the water level vs the load level on page 15. • How to remove to the agitator to clean inside chamber?

  • User Non avatar #103139 United States10 months ago

Here are instructions for cleaning the interior of the agitator: Select the Colors / Normal cycle, Super Fill or Deep Fill Water Level, the Deep Rinse Option and either the Warm or Hot temperature selection. Then pour 1/4 cup detergent and 1 cup bleach into the wash basket, remove the fabric softener dispenser from the top of the agitator, allow the washer to fill and proceed to the wash phrase and let it agitate for about 5 minutes. Then you can lift the lid and use a long, slender soft brush to clean the agitator's inside, and use a measuring cup to take some of the wash water and pour it into the agitator to flush out any soil. Please note you should complete that step in less than 15 minutes or the washer will drain out the water. Then shut the lid and let the washer finish the rest of the cycle as normal, and replace the dispenser when the cycle is finished.

Rinse cycle does work all of the time

  • User Non avatar #104681 United States8 months ago

On top-load washers with only a Drain & Spin cycle, you can still achieve a Rinse & Spin by selecting Drain & Spin and choosing the Deep Rinse option.

  • The agitator seems to run slower than most washers, is that normal

  • User Non avatar #104680 United States8 months ago

The agitator speed is based on the cycle you set. The slower the agitator moves, the easier it is on your clothes and the less wear and tear your clothes experience. Therefore, settings such as Delicates will agitate slower than settings like Bulky.
