    my fridge won't stop beeping

  • User Non avatar #105160 United States10 months ago

Your fridge might beep continuously if the door isn't closed properly. If the door is closed but you still hear beeping, check if you have a dirty or defective door gasket/seal. If this suggestion does not help, please contact GE Appliances Customer Service.

the control panel does not work. It does not show which dispenser is being used. No red dot. No water, no ice, no temperature being shown.

The panel may have been inadvertently locked. Press and hold the Lock pad for 3 seconds to unlock (or lock) the controls. For reference, see at the following link:

How do I lower the refrigerator temperation?

  • User Non avatar #105162 United States10 months ago

The Refrigerator Compartment Temperature Control and Freezer Compartment Temperature Control button to adjust temperature. The temperature is preset in the factory at 37°F (2.8°C for refrigerator compartment) and 0°F (-17.8°C for freezer compartment). Allow 24 hours for temperature to stabilize to the preset recommended setting.

  • Ice dispenser displays P. No ice or water will dispense. How do I rest.

  • The inside of the fridge is sweating. How do I stop that?

If moisture collects inside (in humid weather, air carries moisture into refrigerator when doors are opened). That's due to the higher humidity in the refrigerator, you may on occasion experience fog or small amounts of moisture in the refrigerator compartment. This is normal and may come and go as different food loads and environmental conditions change. Wipe dry with a paper towel if desired.
