Getting Started
- Charge the AirPods Pro 3 and the wireless charging case using a USB-C cable or Qi-compatible charger. (Cable not included.)
- Open the case lid near your iPhone or iPad. A setup animation will appear on the device screen.
- Tap Connect and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Insert the earbuds into your ears. Adjust the ear tips for a secure fit.
Controls & Operation
- Play/Pause: Press the stem once.
- Skip Forward: Press the stem twice.
- Skip Backward: Press the stem three times.
- Switch between ANC and Transparency: Press and hold the stem.
- Volume: Swipe up or down on the stem.
- Answer/End Call: Press the stem once.
- Siri: Say "Hey Siri" or press and hold the stem.
Using Heart Rate Sensing
- Ensure the earbuds fit snugly in your ears.
- Open the Health app on your iPhone (iOS 18 or later).
- Select a workout type (up to 50 supported).
- Your heart rate and calories burned will be tracked automatically during the workout.
- View your Move ring, step count, and Workout Buddy data on your iPhone.
Using Live Translation
- Open the Translate app on your iPhone (requires Apple Intelligence).
- Select the languages you want to translate between.
- Tap the microphone icon and speak. The translation will be played through the AirPods.
- The other person can respond, and the translation will be spoken back to you.
Hearing Health Features
- Hearing Test: Open the Health app, navigate to Hearing, and follow the instructions to take a test.
- Hearing Aid Feature: Enable in Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices. Use Conversation Boost for clearer speech.
- Hearing Protection: Active protection works automatically in loud environments.
Charging
- Place the earbuds in the charging case. The case can be charged via USB-C or a Qi-compatible wireless charger.
- The status light on the front of the case shows the charge level: green (charged), amber (less than one full charge remaining).
- Check battery status on your iPhone by opening the case near the device.
Note: AirPods Pro 3 do not include a USB-C charge cable or power adapter. Use any compatible USB-C cable or power adapter. Apple charging cables and adapters are available separately.
