plug or any other part of appliances in water:
Only clean the appliance using a damp cloth.
Remember this is an electrical appliance.
– To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then
remove plug from wall outlet.
– To protect against fire, electric shock and injury
to persons do not immerse cord or plugs in
water or other liquid.
– When the appliance is plugged into the electrical
socket and whilst switched on never place hands
into the bread toasting slots.
– Do not insert foil-covered, oversized foods or
utensils into the toaster as they may involve a
risk of fire or electric shock.
– Never insert sharp or abrasive objects into the
slots, as this will cause damage.
– The sides of the toaster and the areas
surrounding the bread slots become very hot
during use: operating the toaster should be
carried out touching only the plastic button and
handles.
– Do not cover the appliance while it is in use.
– Do not wrap the mains cord around the body
of the toaster during or after use. The cord
storage facility is located on the underside of
the toaster.
– A fire may occur if toasters are covered or
touching flam-mable material, including
curtains, draperies, wall, and the like, when in
operation.
– Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is
plugged in.
– The bread may burn, therefore do not use the
toaster near or below combustible material,
such as curtains. The toaster should be attended
when in use.
– The appliances are not intended to be operated
by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
