Switching on the appliance
1. Turn tap fully on.

The Eco 50° programme has been
preset for environmentally friendly
operation whenever the appliance
starts. This programme remains
selected if no other programme
button 0 is pressed.
3. Press START button `.
Programme sequence starts.
Note:
For ecological reasons the Eco 50°
programme is preset whenever the
appliance starts. This conserves
environmental resources and not least
saves you money.
The Eco 50° programme is a
particularly environmentally friendly
programme. According to EU
regulation 1016/2010 it is the
“Standard programme” which is the
most efficient standard cleaning cycle
for cleaning normally soiled utensils in
terms of the combined energy and
water consumption for cleaning these
types of utensils.

While a programme is running, an
optical display (additional programme
information) is projected onto the floor
at the bottom of the appliance door. If
the base panel is pulled forwards or if
the appliance is installed at eye-level
flush with the furniture then this display
will not be visible.
Possible settings of the optical
display:

Here’s how to change the setting:
1. Switch on ON/OFF switch (.
2. Hold down the programme button
# and then hold the START button
` until :... appears in the
display window h.
3. Release both buttons.
The illuminated display on the button
# flashes.
4. Press the programme button #
repeatedly until :... appears in the
display window h. (for the optical
display) together with the previously
set value, for example :‹‚.
5. Press the programme button 3
repeatedly until the desired value, for
example :‹‹, appears in the
display window h.
6. Press START button `.
The set value is saved.
