The door may be slightly ajar. Open the door and firmly close it. Reprogram if necessary. On some ovens, the door connects to an interlock switch that may start the clock but the connection is not enough to allow the microwave to start. This is a safety feature. Check to be sure the TIME COOK or MICRO COOK function is being used. In some cases the timer has inadvertently been set instead of a cooking function.
