#1 What is a stem shelf?

This model has 2 Utility Shelves with Stem Safe in the upper rack. This is a system that allows you to secure the glass stem of delicate glassware like wine glasses.

#2 What does code 3H mean? That won’t clear

Normally this means you have the 3-hour delay set on your dishwasher. Try holding in the start button for 5 seconds to reset it. If that does not work you can try unplugging the unit or turning off power to the unit for 5 minutes which usually resets the computer. If these troubleshooting tips do not work, please contact the GE Store at 1-800-626-9664.

#3 What is the round compartment in the top left corner of the door? (Left when the door is open). I can’t find it in any paperwork or instructions?

The upper left circular area on the door is actually not a compartment and would be the door vent, this helps with the dry boost and ventilation.
