FILLING

Caution: If the kettle has just boiled it will be full of steam. Keep hands clear as steam will escape from the kettle

when opening the lid.

• Removethekettlefromthepowerbase.

• Pressthelidreleasebuttononthehandletoopenthelid.

• Fill to at least the “min” level on the water window.

• Donotllabovethe“max”line.Ifoverlled,thekettlemayspitboilingwater

• Closethelid,andpressdowntolockit.

• Check the lid is fully closed or the kettle may not switch off when it boils.

SWITCHING ON

Caution: Keep clear, as steam will escape from the spout when boiling.

• Plugthepowercordintothewallpoweroutletandswitchiton.

• Whenyouhaveselectedyourdesiredtemperature,theselectedbuttonwillturnredandthe

kettlewillcommenceheatingup.

• While the kettle is boiling, blue illumination will be visible from inside the kettle.

Note: When selecting temperatures below 100, you will hear the element pulse on, off and on again as it works to

control the temperature accurately.

• Oncethekettlehasreachedtheselectedtemperature,itwillbeep3timesandtheilluminated

button will return to the original blue colour.

• Toswitchoffthekettlemanuallymid-boil,youcaneitherpressthetemperaturebuttonor

alternativelyyoucanliftthekettleoffthebaseandthenputitback.

VARIABLE TEMPERATURE

• Touchthebuttonmarkedwiththetemperaturesyouwant.

• Thetemperaturesavailableare:100°,95°,90°,80°,70°and60°(°C).

Note: When selecting temperatures below 100, you will hear the element pulse on, off and on again as it works to

control the temperature accurately.

• Oncethekettlereachesthesettemperature,thekettlewillbeep3timestoindicateitis

ready.

KEEP WARM

• PresstheKeepWarmbuttoneitherbeforepressingthetemperaturebuttonorduringthe

heating cycle.

• TheKeepWarmfunctionwillmaintainthewaterattheselectedtemperaturefor30minutes.

• Duringthistimethekettlemaycycleonandofftomaintainthetemperatureatthedesired

setting;however,theKeepWarmfunctionwillbeswitchedoffifthekeepwarmbuttonis

pressedagain.
