Popcorn
NOTE: During Popcorn function, as with all microwave cooking
functions, the microwave oven should be attended at all times.
Listen for popping to slow to 1 pop every 1 or 2 seconds, and
then stop the cycle.
To avoid damage to the microwave oven, do not
use regular paper bags or glass utensils.
Pop only 1 package of popcorn at a time.
Follow manufacturer’s instructions when using
a microwave popcorn popper.
For best cooking results, do not try to pop unpopped kernels.
Use fresh bags of popcorn for optimal results.
Cooking results may vary by brand and fat content.
The microwave uses the sensor to determine sizes
that can be popped: 1.75-3.5 oz (50-99 g) bags.
To use POPCORN:
1. Press POPCORN.
2. Press START UPPER. When the stop time is reached,
the oven will shut off automatically. If enabled, end-of-cycle
tones will sound. (There won’t be a countdown. It will display
“Sensing” during the entire cycle.)
3. Press CANCEL UPPER or open the microwave oven
door to stop the Popcorn cycle.
Beverage
Use Beverage to reheat at serving temperature.
To Use:
1. Press BEVERAGE.
2. Press the appropriate number keypads to select the quantity.
3. Press START UPPER.
IMPORTANT: Heated liquids can splash out during and after
heating. A wooden stir stick placed in the cup or bowl during
heating may help avoid this.
4. Press CANCEL UPPER or open the microwave oven door
to stop the Beverage cycle.

Steam Cook
Steam Cook is a sensor-cooking function that uses
microwaves to steam food. Use Steam for foods such
as vegetables, fish, and potatoes.
Times and cooking powers have been preprogrammed
for steaming a number of food types.
Use a microwave-safe steamer.
Use 1/2 cup (125 mL) water or as directed in the
steamer instructions.
Use the following chart as a guide.

To Use Programmed Steam Cook:
1. Press STEAM COOK.
Press the appropriate number keypads to select
the desired food category and type.
2. Press START UPPER.
“Sensing” will display until the microwave senses
the water has been properly heated.
“Steam Cook” will display until cooking is complete.
“Cooking Complete” will display when the cycle is finished.
3. Press CANCEL UPPER or open the microwave oven door
to stop the Steam Cook cycle.
To Use Manual Steam Cook:
1. Press STEAM COOK.
Press the appropriate number keypad to select
the desired food category.
2. Press the number “1” keypad to select the Manual setting.
3. Press the number keypads to enter the desired cook time.
4. Press START UPPER.
NOTE: When you are using Steam Cook, the microwave
oven controls the power. After water is brought to a boil,
the food will steam for the length of the Cook Time.
“Sensing” will display until the microwave oven senses
the water has been properly heated.
“Steam Cook” will display until cooking is complete.
“Cooking Complete” will display when the cycle is finished.
5. Press CANCEL UPPER or open the microwave oven door
to stop the Steam Cook cycle.
