•If parts of the appliance should catch fire, never try to extinguish flames
with water. Disconnect the appliance and smother the flames with a wet
cloth.
•Allow the appliance to cool down completely before you clean and store it.
•Never move the appliance as long as it is hot.
•Remove all packaging materials, stickers and accessories from the inside
and the outside of the appliance.
•Fully unwind the power cord.
•If the appliance is used in the centre of the table, keep it out of the reach
of children.
•To prevent the appliance from overheating, do not place it in a corner or
against a wall.
•Never place the appliance directly on a fragile surface (glass table, tablecloth,
varnished furniture, etc.) or on a soft surface such as a tea-towel.
•If an extension cord is used, make sure to choose one of equivalent diameter
with an earthed socket.
•Always plug the appliance into an earthed socket.
•Position the cord carefully, whether an extension is used or not, so that
guests can move freely around the table without tripping over it.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similary qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
•This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote-control system.
•Make sure that the electric power supply is compatible with the power rating
and voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance.
•Dot not use aluminium foil or other objects
between the plates and the food being cooked.
•Do not immerse the appliance, the control panel or power cord in water.
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
